Default The simplest way to stop a tank

I just go back from a trip overseas. I don't know why it took the Germans to figure out the simplest way to stop a tank. Well, here it is:

For those of you who don't know European Road signs, anything in a Red Circle mean "not allowed". So it simple to stop a tank. Put up a road sign saying they aren't allowed. That will stop them.

Just a little of my strange humor..

I was thinking plutonium or enriched uranium...highly excited into a mushroom shape. It will work too, but it's more expensive.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.

From 21 yrs ago, Chaseing M1's through the countryside, It ment that the Road was not capable of supporting the armour. Of course, The were mainly on cobblestone at the time. That one looks as good as B6,Maybe the meaning has changed a little.

The whole damn part of the country.

Started of in Stuttgart, went to Dortmund, and ended up in Hamburg. Most of my time is in Hamburg. That sign was in a little town outside of Hamburg (35 minute drive). It is where the Panzer school is. The raod leads into town, I think they want to keep tanks out of downtown.

Now, how long do I get to stay home before I go back to Germany? I have done three trips (6 weeks) since the end of October. Most of my time (80%) has been in Hamburg.

Silly rabbit, tanks can't read. Just like the signs outside of the schools keep the guns out. Well, in that case neither the guns nor the kids can read the signs.

aahhhh brings back memories of being 8 and waking up in Augsburg to the ominous rumble of several armor columns rolling down the road at 7am!

Always heard stories from the Tankers I knew about their rolling exploits in Germany especially around Fulda.... opps, there went another street sign

You sure its not a tank crossing sign? The lack of the line through it would seem to indicate its not a "prohibited" or not allowed sign.

I also know that in the old days they had a lot of their roads and bridges wired with explosives if they needed to "deny access" in a hurry.

I would assume it means the same thing for tanks.
