The shoot spot is about 10 miles north of WP off of highway 67. Any of you coming from the Denver area can always meet with me and follow me to the shoot spot. Then you wont have to go all the way to WP then back to the shoot spot. From C470 and Belview its about 60 miles to the shoot spot. I take 285 to pinejunction then south to the shoot.

For those that are wondering, the location is actually in Dougco.

I took that way, sorta, back from the shoot in November. It was many miles of nasty washboard (not fun in the Mustang) and finally hooked up with the paved bit out of Pine Junction (forget what it was - 67?). Is that the way you go?

That was the old shoot spot you took the dirt road into rampart range. The new place is pavement all the way.

We were trying a "shortcut" back home after the shoot. Asha'man took the scenic route.

I think I'm going to try going from Sedalia to Oxyoke and then down 67 to the shoot site. I need to learn more about the area since I plan on doing a bit of fishing in that area of the Platte this year.

We meet at McDonalds between 9:30 and 10:00AM then, at 10:00, we head for the range. We arrive around 10:30ish. We shoot 'til all the bad paper/steel/golf balls/etc are dead. Then we usually head home. Except in July, then you guys all take me out to dinner for my birthday. Karl.

money's suddenly tight and my desktop just died (and I'll be off the net completely sometime this/next week when the soon-to-be-ex-wife takes the cable modem) so I can't justify spending money on ammo or gas to get to this one

    hopefully next month.

Thanks I'll see if I can get it worked into the schedule. Baseball & Softball season for the kids are already getting going. Does anyone bring kids, all of mine love to shoot, whether its airsoft or .22 they like being out with me.
