1.0 is the "highest", and the only "commercial" round that does that is the mighty .50 cal. As far as your .243 WSSM and the ranges you are shooting, there is little need to be concerned with it. But if you wish to know a little more:

Little nerdy, but is a good summary.

How much do you wish to spend to start reloading? As Marlin said, you can go from bare-bones to pricey.

    Thanks for the link.

I do not have a fixed dollar amount for getting started. Howewver, I would rather pay more upfront for equipment that will last instead of having to upgrade later.

This looks pretty good, digital scale and powder dispenser etc...

    Something like $530.00 from Cabelas.

That is a good setup that will last, and not a bad price either. Throw in a caliper for measuring your brass and a good set of dies, and your set. The electronic scales are the best invention since sliced bread! Saves alot of time.

For a good ballistics program (free ) that will illustrate BC's a little better than reading mumbo jumbo, try this program....

eh, I have all that in my basement....yeah, that's the ticket...!

PS - Got the above mentioned RCBS set up from Cabelas ordered today.
Also went and shot the K8 for the first time today, WOW.

Tons of cleaning for the break in though, and I managed to impale my thumb on the patch jag. That smarts a little.
