    Default latest govt. ripoff rant

I go to renew my cdl that I have had for 12 years, they inform me that to keep the hazmat endorsement that I have had for 12 years, and that I need to keep my job will now cost me an extra $94.00 and up to a 30 day wait, and a unpaid day off to drive to colo. springs to be fingerprinted. wtf this is another bs law that will stop nothing! if a killer wants a gun he will get it illegally, if a minor wants booze he will get it illegally, if a terrorist wants a plane he will hijack it, now they expect me to belive if someone wants a truckload of hazmat they are just going to go in and fill out an application? it says there are 2.7 million hazmat endorsements out there now, that they have already ran through their database now why do I have to pay them $94.00 to do it again? lets see 2.7 million X $94.00 each, someone is banking!

Sounds like bush and his patriot act BS. I just refinaced my house and could not belive what kind of BS I had to go through because of the patriot act. i have a CDL also but let my hazmat go for the fact I did not want to take the test again. I figured if I needed the endorsement again I could simply take the test. It is getting worse every day in the mean time they let milions of illegals come across the southern boarder.

what chaps my a$$ is that they say they have already checked everyone with the endorsement, but you have to pay them $94 bucks to do it again, plus the $40.00 it costs every 4 years anyway.

Bush didn't dream up the PATRIOT act, Congress did. The Department of Homeland Security was also a product of Congress.

This sounds like government efficiency to me.

    CDL Commercial Driver's Liscense
Needed to drive a bus, limo, dump truck, weights over 19k combined, etc., etc., etc.

    Hazmat Endorsement:
Lets you transport hazardous or semi-hazardous materials legally. It mostly deals with accidents and how they need to be treated if something happens. Placards for displaying what you are carring and of course the lovely paper trail of what was/is shipped. From corosives, flamables, oxidizers and radioactive matrerials are all needing a Hazmat Endorsement.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
