Default Transfer of Firearm From IN?

    Saw this on ARFCOM

I sold a pistol to a Colorado member, but I'm having a little trouble with the receiving dealer (Shooting Den Inc., 420 W Fillmore, Colorado Springs, CO, 80907). They refuse to accept firearms from non-FFL holders. I offered to send copies of my driver's license, and CCW license, but this guy still refuses to accept the pistol & do the transfer (he says it's a local law?).

    Can we help him out?
I'm not sure about the local transfer laws, but sounds like he needs to have a FFL holder mail it from his side. If you don't post on ARFCOM, I'll cut & paste the info for him.

    Later,

I just briefly looked through my newly aquired Federal Firearms Regulations Refrence Guide (2005) (if you have a FFL, you already got it or will soon)

Didn't find anything preventing the above mentioned transaction.

It is the right of the FFL to stipulate additional terms and its in the right of the people wanting to make the transaction to take their business elsewhere.

Oh, simple answer. Call another dealer and quit dealing with that lowlife, leftwing, anti-gun, scumbag, @0@%sucker, POS from the Shooting Den!

He's anti anything except his special hunting rifles that are the only gun you should be allowed to own.

He WONT allow any of those ASSAULT RIFLES in his shop, so no need to transfer one to him!

He's smoking bad dope I guess.

And feel freee to quote me. Karl.
