I bought a p228 CPO there and my mom got a nice airweight 22lr. Both of us had pleasant experiences. They do not charge a 3% up charge on credit cards, instead they say they give a 3% discount on cash or debit transactions. The same thing just worded differently. So the price you see on the gun is what you will pay unless you got cash then it is cheaper. Both times I was there I was treated well. The first time this one customer that must be a high roller was able to get in front of me and interrupt my sales person a number of times but he was a paying customer waiting on a background check, however, all his questions were small talk. The second time the sales person was glued to my mom and dad and answered their every question. Over all it is a pleasant place to shop even with their credit card policy and short hours.

    Really good people there...

My first time going there and I came out with a "Bill of Sale" for a AAC SDN-6 7.62 and flash hider
I've been to and spoke to several class 3/NFA item dealers and they (for some reason) give the impression that only a trust, or a special letter from your county sheriff, or some sorta membership card with a secret hand shake will get you to purchase an NFA item. These guys at 5280 were just... "Oh you want that? Let's get started with the order".. do you have an LLC or a trust? We can help you get started on that too! With that awesome attitude... I was sold!
Matt and Gina are cool... 5280 certainly earned my business...

    FYI.

I believe they will be closed for the whole month of July. They'll be on vacation...
    Whore monger Mike!

    Slinging coconuts since ever since...

Easily my favorite place to go for gun stuff, everyone behind the counter always seem to be a happy mood. Their prices are pretty fair compared to other gun stores in the Denver metro area.

    Default One happy customer

I was in Denver to celebrate my annirversary with my wife earlier this year and stopped by 5280. Matt & Gina are the BomB! Really great people and fantastic attitude. Oh, and they have have a few guns for sale too!

Matt and Gina's listed prices are cash prices. If you want to pay with a CC, the price goes up to cover their cost of your convienance. I'm ok with that, it cost alot of money to operate a business. I bought a Savage 111 .338 Lapua for less money ($200.00) with a CC than I would have paid at Sportsman's Warehouse, BPS, of any other big box store. FWIW, I prefer to buy guns at only private shops instead of the "warehouse, small business killers", be that 5280, Bear Arms, or Garretson's.

I just wanted to put in my two cents as 5280 has always been good to me whether it has been Matt, Gina or Ian. Sometimes they are a little busy but if you want a minute they will give you just as much time as the last guy and don't try to push you into something you don't want. Thanks for the Arsenal rifle, love it!
