    I've corresponded a little with one moderator who clued me in to this board's existence (Thanks, Mr. Dove!).

    I'm 44. I grew up in Missouri mostly on small farms where we could shoot pretty much as we wished. I spent time in the Reserves where I had occaision to use many different weapons.

    I'm back from a firearms hiatus. Two wives with typical East Coast gunphobia meant I had no firearms for around 20 years. I never lost my interest in firearms, though.

    I've built up a small collection now and belong to Cherry Creek Gun Club in Denver. I'm usually in there on weekends at least one of the days.

    I'm mostly interested in target shooting but recent events happening to friends of our family have inspired me to seek out a CCW and training so that if the need arises I may be able to stop trouble before it harms my family.
