wife got her first bird
a chukar.
Friend took us out (private reserve, his dog)
much too windy and a little dry, but anything that flew we got.
She got at least one (I think two, but I appear to have lost count at some point)
she's excited
oh boy, another expensive hobby for the two of us.

at best it's only $100 a plate or so.

Congrats!! I have yet to find the girl of my dreams. Hunting, Fishing, Shooting, Ownes a liquor store. Etc.
took me almost 20 years (hunting, fishing, shooting, she dragged me to get my CCW) to find her.
Plus canning, sewing, baking, woodworking, raises animals (chickens, pigs) and even drives a tractor.
although no liquor store, nor is she rich (it's just as easy to love a rich girl as a poor girl)
