I had a great time today. 2 misses and 2 hostages. Not bad considering I have never done anything even remotely similar and haven't shot since Oct. I only did the zombie stage.

I had a lot of fun today. Thanks to the Boulder Rifle Club and everyone that put it on.

I never shot a stage where tactical order and shooting from cover were factors. Something I have to work on for sure.

The outdoor stage was also good. It was nice to get the rifle and shotgun running for the first time since September even for just one stage.

Thanks to the Boulder Rifle Club for putting on the match - I brought along two of my friends, and we were made to feel totally welcome. Everyone was friendly, and we even picked up a new nickname for one of my buddies.

The hell or high water stage was a great exposure to 3-gunning, and the indoor stage was very educational. To underscore the friendliness of the BRC crowd, one of my friends brought Wolf to the rifle range, which apparently is not allowed. One of the members loaned him an M1 carbine and ammo to use. Amazingly kind.

We'll all definitely be back next time.

Incidentally, are the results going to be posted to the club webpage?

    Thanks again!

    So you brought Lucky....huh?

Now as for the scores, that is a bit of a sticky, always has been. They do not post them anywhere. They might have them at the next match, they may not. You might be able to get in touch with the match director and get them. You may never see them.

Llama, you can check in with either me or Robbo at the next match for stats. We don't publish the entire match results, however, if you get on my e mail list, I publish a monthly digest of the winners of the classes. PM me your e mail, and any of your buddies that you brought, and I'll add you.
