Update, I think... So we are members at Quail Run, Kiowa Creek, and now Great Guns. All are very different and we belong to all three for different reasons.
Quail Run is a very nice club, very family friendly and welcoming. My son loves the 3D archery range there. Its close, we live just East of Parker, and their prices are good. They have 20 stations for sporting clays and the ones in the back are a bitch. I have heard they finally opened their pistol range, will check that out soon.
Kiowa Creek is a little nicer as far as facilities go. Their sporting clay trail is a bit nicer and they have 25 stations I think. Here also the ones in the back are humbling (OK humiliating). Their lodge is fantastic as is their equipment. Prices are about the same for a round. They allow members to dove hunt for free...
Great Guns is our latetest club. Absolutely a fine range in every way, except its up in Nunn. They have planted many trees and they are 20 feet tall in many places. 15 station sporting clays and our new favorite, 5 stand. The place is huge, you can drive your truck station to station. Automated voice activated trap range, to you can go solo. Pistol ranges and the rifle ranges, 100, 200, and 300 yard. The back stops are huge, they look like pyramids from a distance (you can see them miles away). Kelly will greet you by name on your second visit. It took me 3 visits to remember his name. When the trees grow I think this will be the front ranges finest club with the most to offer anyone.
And I have to say that we (wife, son and myself) have seen more women/ girls at the clubs in the last months than ever before. We have let 3 or 4 ladies try out my wifes Beretta xplor lite 12 gauge. Anything we can do to make it enjoyable for the ladies will benefit us all. Plus chicks with guns are hot, especially up there in 100 degree temps..
