    bows take alot of skill to use. Fletching is a skill that you can't just hack in the feild. A decent bow setup is the same cost as a legal suppressor without the additional learning curve.

    A cross bow has no learning curve but costs as much as a supressor.

    I have a take down re-curve and a compound... not a primary pack item but there if I need it. The sling bow is cool and far more practical.

    And girls only want boyfriends who have good skills....like bo staff skills, Nun-chuck skills...

    Depends... Compound or recurve for hunting game... Crossbow for Zombies... everyone knows that....

    A bow with some judo points would be perfect for getting small game and not loosing or breaking arrows. Ammo will run out in a "bug out" situation. If careful, a dozen quality arrows will last a while. just another thing to point out.

    Default Recurve is a better rifle rest.

    Haven't shot a bow much since high school. A long bow would make a better rifle rest.
    You would be surprised what little effect one 22LR shot has on the neighborhood.

    If your shooting people you don't have to worry about NFA forms.
