In a place like a mall, I wouldn't go in without it. I really don't care what the morons at the mall office think. I worked in a mall during college, they don't do squatt to protect their patrons. Our security guys spent more time with the cute gals in the food court than on patrol.

I prefer to look at it this way. If they know I am carrying, I had a situation where I had to draw it. I would rather deal with the consequences of being the one standing and my family safe.
I have always wondered if the courts would draw a line between illegal carry and legal carry in this situation.
