Yeah, and he never seemed full of himself like so many others. I heard an interview once may years ago where he said, "Why don't I play fast guitar solos? Because I can't play fast very well." Of course he can, but I thought that was telling.
Yeah he can play fast...lol.
I know he's a humble person from things like what you mentioned. I know his folks didn't think highly of him taking up guitar, they didn't think that was a good future for him.
