Default How To Sale Guns At Gun Shows?

I know this may sound dumb to some of you, but during 93/94/95 up until the background checks, I sold guns at Colorado gun shows. I had an FFL at the time. I did them all, when they were having a show some place every weekend it seemed.

I got "fried" on the gun show circut and haven't been back since. Now I need to sale some firearms and down size to the ones I use the most. How does one sale guns at a gun show w/o an FFL or is there a way to run a background check while there? Or is that still not a requirement at a GS and civilians can make sales of there personal guns?

I've heard that the GS have really gone down hill. Is that true? Is it worth still going to them?

    Out of Touch
    Thanks

Gun Shows have changed alot lately. But you might be able to unload a firearm or two there.

You DO have to have a Background check for any private sale while at the gun show or on the premises of the gunshow. There is a station for it. Usually right at the front door. and if I remember correctly it runs you $10.

Or you could always advertise on the forum here.

Some of us might be interested in them.

gun shows are no good on colorado anymore
Teh ones in Montana were great, like they used to be
but here, eh, it's too hard as a private seller
if you only have a couple, post them on boards, esp local and do FTF transfers
and some of the other national ones and transfer them out of state
not great, but easier work than gun show to sit around while no one buys anything cuz the 4473 line is two hours long.
