    Uhhhh - isn't this the scheduled shoot day?
    Certainly not the conflict I want to be faced with.

    well, I only see a couple issues with that;
    -We may not get as many people showing up as we would at 7&72 since it's farther for them.
    -This location is a bit harder to find, 88 is a clearly marked county road but 61 looks to be a very minor dirt track. If I had to guess from the satellite picture, it would be an un-numbered track with a sign saying no vehicles allowed.
    If most of those coming want to do it this way, I'll go too but I think I'd just as soon shoot a bunch of mags up at 7&72.

    88 and 61 looks like a spot I have never been to, I think I'll go just to find a new shooting area. [postal]

    Newracer & I went and "scoped out" this location Sunday. It was easy to find, basically there's the big gully that goes N - S. Where road 88 crosses it is a spot where people pull over at the bottom and use the slopes as a backstop. Road 61 is a total nothing only noted by a tiny sign on a cattle grate. This spot wasn't real dirty, but we saw enough trash that a cleanup could be done.

    Newracer I'm ok with the idea of cleaning up then having a shoot there, but I see two problems:
    -It might take a while for the cleaning crowd to clear out before shooting can start and I'm somewhat time-limited that day. (last cleanup, the crowd was in no hurry to leave)
    -Because of distance, a number of North folks may not be willing to go out there so it could result in a low turnout.

    Therefore, I still prefer doing the shoot at 7 & 72. What say you?

    Turns out I probably won't be able to make a shoot or cleanup that day. The wife is going out of town so I have sole resposibility for the kids. I need to check their soccer schedule to see if I (we) can make either.
