So I had about 8 rounds through it and the trigger pin backed out of the receiver locking the whole thing up. Went to a vice, supported the head of the trigger pin and gently tapped the reciever around the small end of the trigger pin. The reciever pulled in and the trigger pin was then in the right position. While I was in there I smoothed up the hammer face.
Ran it this afternoon. It went 20 rounds with the bolt sticking every 3-4 rounds. I would pull the bolt back a 1/4" and let it chamber the next round. After that it went 50 rounds without problem (would have went more but it was all the ammo I had) . In retrospect I was also running the weapon without lube. Should have lightly lubed it. I bet it would have ran better sooner. I have always been of the opinion that a weapon has to have 200 or so rounds in it to start judging its reliability. Even though this is an old gun (1986) with a new receiver I guess that it is really starting all over. Reguardless I am extreamly happy with it so far (need to finish it at the next build party) and looking foward to the next 200 rounds. Thanks the guys at the build party and Willies Wagon for his help: without your build party I would not have ever gotten this far.
