700's are great bolt guns I have a 700 custom deluxe chambered in 300 Ultra mag and love it.

You know the weight differance between the old setup and the new?

no I dont. It was already setup the way you see it. But the guy I bought it from had the extra parts laying around and shipped them to me.

I dont even have a scale that I can use to weight the new. I am quessing around 8-10 pounds though for the new setup.

I will see if I cant find a way to weight it and let you know.

Rifle like that needs a music box gun case.

Open it up and it starts playing that old telephone company jingle:

"Reach out, reach out and touch someone..."

Oh yeah, welcome to the dark side... Now you can legitimately ask... "Should the target hear the shot before it hits them or after?" [roll]

AND just wait until you decide you want one of them mighty fine NightForce NSX optics! I cry everytime I think about getting better optics for my Remmy 700.

I'll be interested in checking out the feel of the stock next time I get a chance to make it to a shoot.
