    Hunting here in TN's jungle for the elusive thunder chicken is tough! Early in the season it was easier but after day one the fun is over and its about splattering their damn head(s) out of spite. We get four birds a spring season here. I got one the second day of the season and have found nothing but ticks ever since. They are out there but their lips are tight and the hens are many. I would so like to bust a few hens out of spite!

    I was stoked to move here just for the massive amount of turkeys that TN is famed for. Now after a season or two under my belt....I long for the days of WY/CO turkey hunting.

    Good thing for me my wife now is starting to see the wisdom (and my desire) for living out west. Better hunting, better living.

    where is this place how far is it from Milliken. i would love a chance to shoot a turkey.
