That place mentioned on s Broadway in Englewood is called Farris Survival LLC at 3366 s Broadway--about 2-3 blocks N of Hampden.
I was in there a few years ago and most of what he had was food and water storage supplies. It was ok --But not great.
I stopped by about 6 months ago and it was stocked pretty good and his supply inventory was a lot better.
Berkey water filters--lots of books--medical supplies (even kwik clot)--food supplies were pretty good.
He has 50 and 25 lb bags of a variety of organic grains and a good supply of mylar bags and oxy absorbers.
A lot of water storage containers in various sizes and food grade buckets.
The food grade buckets are pricey ($15) but they are the good ones with screw on lids. I get mine free from King Soopers bakery dept.

If you live in the area --it's worth checking out.
He also has a wesite at
    www.FSURV.com

He has a lot more at the store than there is posted on his site

    Speaking or Prepper Stores...
Did anyone see the article in The Independent?
They mentioned a store in Canyon City - www.samandy.com

Sorry if this is old news, I am rather new here.

No, and I didn't know there was one. I live in Aurora, you can send me and I can give you feed back since you are pretty far to the North.

I have been there. Very helpful and kind, even though I made it clear i was a "gentile" in LDS speak. They didn't appear to have equipment to loan, but they had an extensive, clean dry pack canning facility. You could pack whatever bulk goods they have available in #10 cans or mylar pouches. They offer a price sheet with available items.

I would call them first, as they operate on limited hours and there has been some scuttlebutt on arfcom that they were now restricting access to church members because of the rush of preppers. If you are allowed to visit and use the facility, do what I did and help with packing extra cans for others, so the walk in members of the church will have what they need. And clean up after yourself. Our ability to access the facility is helped and encouraged by mindful people like us who put their best foot forward. Good luck with your storage plan!

Does Farris or any other local stores carry emergency water pouches? Or does anyone know of a good source online that you don't get killed on shipping? Thanks.

They definitely do have the emergency water pouches, couldn't quote a price for you but I definitely saw them there last week. I picked up 02 absorbers.
