Looking for a place to shoot!

Does anybody know of a place up 285 or around there a that i can go scout out a nice place in the forest to shoot that is 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from roads? I've never shot anywhere but indoor ranges and i would love to experience some outdoor shooting! So if anyone has any suggestions of a place to shoot (legal obviously lol) i would very much appreciate it! thanks! I'm by c-470 and morrison by the way so anywhere within an hours drive would be perfect!

I went to the "south site" (its in the places to shoot/maps sticky) and I am not too far from you at C4 and Wads, its about 1-1.5 hours away and seemed Ok when I went on Sunday, however the weather was crappy and it was Easter so it may be alot busier normally. We enjoyed ourselves and cleaned up more than we brought in.

This is fair warning to anyone reading this....If I see you hauling out TV's, Computers, random garbage out to shoot, I'm calling the Sheriff and tipping them off to your location and plate number.
