    Default Survival Knife

Just curious to know what everybody thinks is the best survival knife? I use a Gurka Knife, KaBar and a SOG Seal Pup. They have all served well over the years.

What do you use? Pic's would be nice.

I love my Seal pup, fantastic knife.

That's the one I take hiking/hunting/fishing. If I found myself in a survival situation it would be my go-to blade.

Well I'm sure Staglefty will be here shortly to show me up (lol), but I will post mine anyway.

Both knives in the pic are fairly new to me, the smaller one (IZULA) is my daily carry, and the larger one (ESEE4), is my camping/backpacking/survival knife. I have yet to use either of them very hard, but the quality alone leaves me confident, that once I need them, they will be phenomenal. I've also used the Seal Pup Elite in the past, and it's also a great knife.

If I was the kind of person that thought the government couldnt provide all I need I would say a Cold Steel SRK. But Obama will take care of me so I dont need one

I have a seal pup. I love it. I had an awesome leather sheath made by the guy Rocky Mountain Tanners (Formerly Jerry's Leather). Excellent job. I will post pics later.

I think knives are just like our guns,we'll all have personal favorites. I have Kbar's,Spyderco's,Gerber's, etc. All good knives. I've recently became a huge ESEE fan. Made in the USA,no BS warranty, fair prices, great edge, and easy to sharpen.
