I have a Seal 2000 knife that sits in a box. I'm sure it's tough, but just too damn big for me to see any practical use. The Seal Pup, on the other hand is a good all-rounder in terms of size, price and quality. I was given a LMF II, and it's a good beefy knife, and something I would consider a "survival" knife, but definitely not something I'd take hunting (the seal pup I'd consider). Too clumsy for me.

I have a Boker Integral Hunter that's probably my favorite, but also three times the price as the others...

You certainly don't need to spend that much to get a serviceable knife, and it's not a Randall, but they are very good quality.
