How many of you have live animal traps?

I've been pretty prepared for when the SHTF but my latest tool is live animal traps. Rabbits,squirrels ect.... they are pretty tasty. I have all the wheat, rice, seeds, dried butter & eggs but where's the beef? I have some property but don't see much big game up there. Harbor Freight had some on sale a couple weeks back for about $25 so I grabbed some.

I have one... kinda forgot I had it... one of the HF types...
Tried to use it once - but my cat was too samrt for it.

I have one left from my pest control days, good last resort.

I have one. Used to trap the cats when they start to get out of hand. No fun when ya get a skunk in one.

"foot catching traps" or "leghold traps" are....with some exceptions....illegal in this state.

In a SHTF scenario, I wouldn't hesitate to use any of the ones I have.

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this part 2, it is unlawful to take wildlife with any leghold trap, any instant kill body-gripping design trap, or by poison or snare in the state of Colorado. I got one from Harbor Freight a while back that I didn't like at all. The one I got at Home Depot right after (about a year ago) is really good. I capture squirrels all the time.
