That's good news on the medical front, OBC.

Two more appointments coming this week, and probably dates for four hand surgeries forthcoming.

I should probably start practicing wiping with the wrong hand again.

Larson won the third Nascar Cup race in a row, and placed twice recent. Clearly they've found some gray area that tech hasn't found yet, and good for them.

I'm also happy that the Vegas Knights tied their series up tonight, next game (5) is in Vegas tuesday evening. They beat up the Avs, it would be nice to see them play for Lord Stanley's Cup.

helpful hint. Buy a pair of dishwasher gloves. Water proof and with some painters tape on the end, will keep the stitches on your hand dry.

That's good advice, thank you. I have held one hand up in the shower before due to unintentional damage to my hands over a 34 year career. Getting hacked up ain't no fun even when it's healed.

I'm gonna have a shiny new flag pole installed, centered in my front yard....lit up and proud.

Be another week or two, but I'm looking forward to it.

Bidets are a lot more affordable again. Mine has heated seat + heated water + heated fan dry. You only have one life, might as well have a solid luxury like this...

I'm rather bummed. My neighbor, a really nice lady who was only 34, died last week. Mom to a 7 year old boy too. Had a seizure, then was in a coma for a week until she died on Thursday.

We'd always chat out in the alley behind our houses. She was single though the dad was always good about everything and he only lived a couple miles away and helped her out a lot. My wife and I were recently helping her figure exterior colors to paint her house.

Her dad owns the house she was in, I wonder if he is going to keep it after this. In that situation I'm sure I would sell the place, but the parents live like 2 blocks away and would still always be going by here, so that has to hurt. I guess it helps that she wasn't home when it happened.

Going to the funeral on Wednesday but this rather sucks. She was a good person.

Just make sure you light it from the ground, and not from a flood light installed on the gutter that just blinds all the other houses on the street. Unless you don't have anyone across from you.

Sorry to hear. It's always sad to lose a neighbor and friend.
