This academy doesn't have anything like that at all, and I don't see that there is any live fire range time or any vehicle driving/training like Brighton had. They will have some other interesting things that I'm sure will make the time spent there worthwhile. I would kick their ass driving in their own vehicles though, I know that.
That's one of the last classes, interacting with potential threats.

Oh how I miss the rain in Colorado. It has been so dry this year in the PNW. Heat warnings again through Sat. with temps near 100.

Just wait 3-4 more month. You will receive rain about 5days/week.

Yeah, we got screwed over on precip for the last two years really. Most properties and open lands are green right now, it really is beautiful when you have all the mountain ranges around everywhere you look as a back drop.

Class was cool, all four of the officers there to speak tonight were really cool and very personable. Tonight was traffic/safety and a lot of stuff that those of us in the shooting community are already aware of. Next week is K-9 and SRO.

I enjoyed watching the Glen last weekend, Elliot came from the back twice and almost caught Larson before the black and white. Nice to see Truex and Hamlin top 5 as well.

The Brickyard cometh....get the milk ready.
