I guess panic is panic. Really makes me consider stocking up on everyday items, ie food and water. Imagine what a shortage of those would look like after seeing this panic.

Hell, I'd be happy to find 22LR on the shelves again. I have a pretty good supply of all my calibers on hand, but whenever ammo starts drying up, I get reeaal nervous about hitting the range.

Yeah no kidding. There is a certain level that I am comfortable with, and with not much available for the next 6mo to year I am getting nervous too.

When you start looking at how fragile the food chain is, stuff like that is really scary. In any given localized area, there's only something like 3 days worth of food (on average) for the population. After that dries up, guess what?

AR stuff is pretty mundane in the sense that, if you can't get it, it's not that big of deal, i.e. you won't DIE if you don't get those PMags in. Plus, it's only a certain percentage of the population trying to get it. Imagine if food shortages started happening. Now the ENTIRE population is struggling to get something that IS life or death.

    Scary stuff.
