    Grass is the biggest waste of water in the U.S. right now and it serves no real purpose. Turn it into a functioning produce store. When SHTF you will be much happier eating a garden instead of dead grass.

    We have talents! And lawns that drain our bank accounts. I say it's a creative solution.

    Scogin, I'm going to try gardening this year. Any advice as to what grows best in this climate?

    I will certainly have a decent sized produce garden eventually, but right now we want someplace for the little HoneyBadger and the dog to play.
