5:00 am is the norm for me as well, unless there is significant snow fall, then it incrementally increases depending on the severity of the snow amount. I don't like getting up at 3:00 am to go plow for the business, but I do it when it needs done.

I wish they'd settle on an amount to forecast for Saturday. This 1"-19" is a bit half-assed, even for the weather service.
