    M44s tend to go for a good bit more than the standard 91/30s. Mosins are incredibly common. I have three of them. The prices have almost doubled in the last year and a half though. I paid less than a hundred for mine. If you find a Finnish version, they're the best IMHO.

    More information, thank you. I have regular long-barreled one I got for $200 included 340 rounds of ammo about 2 months ago. It is fun to shoot and it isn't a hammer like I'd heard. It had been recrowned and cleaned up alot.

    That sounds like a pretty good deal. I enjoy shooting mine. Just hate cleaning it every time due to the corrosive ammo. I always spray some windex down the barrel when I finish at the range. Tends to make the full cleaning later easier.
