I have digital copies and hard copies of all our important documents and major receipts. I also recently walked around the house and photographed absolutely everything we own. I took pictures of every room, then opened every drawer and took pictures of the contents. I'm not sure how insurance claims for stuff like this works, but I figure if I have some recent pictures of all the stuff we own, especially the expensive and high-value stuff, it will be a lot easier to make an insurance claim for it to replace the replaceable "things". Everything that isn't replaceable is already in the bug out vehicle.

Nah, I've got my ducks in a row and we're fairly safe for the time being. Like I said earlier... We just need to keep an eye on the winds throughout the night.
