I could see that. My fiancee probably wouldn't allow that if we were under the impending legislation deadline, but I'm not going to take that chance and will definitely be stocking up on high cap mags over the next few months.

Good thing you're handy with repairs!

I'm considering doing something like that by changing out our light fixtures.

Our decision to stock up wasn't easy, but we sat down and discussed it and agreed to do it. I only wish we could have used cash for the purchases. Ah, well.

I'm sure things might be different if we actually faced that legislation, though my fiancee is just getting into firearms so her addiction to the hobby isn't as lifelong as mine is. Granted, I'm hoping to change that as soon as I get her in to take a CCW class. Almost did it in May, but it was already too hot for her so it looks like we'll be holding out until the fall/winter.

We seemed to miss spring and leap from winter into summer, too. I'm glad you haven't faced that legislation!

We were somewhat close, there was proposed legislation similar to the CO bills, but after writing all of the state reps and finding out that it was only a select few that were anti-gun, there wasn't even enough people for it for it to succeed. That doesn't mean we won't face a federal bill of some sort again. I'm sure another mass shooting will bring the scum back to the surface to propose more legislation that does absolutely nothing to control gun violence.
