Definitely something that ought to be done on the side, especially not in front of subordinates.

I do feel, however, that there are certain (less serious) situations that call for public humiliation.

OTOH if this is a stolen valor issue then by all means make it public.

Now I understand better why they called her out in public, she's claiming things she didn't earn, and how stupid do you have to be to try to pull that off in front of people who KNOW you didn't earn those medals.

I have told plenty of people to learn a new "manner" and chew with their mouths shut. I'm not nice about it either. Come to think of it, I've done it quite a few times... My wife knows what is coming the moment we hear it. Ya, I'm rude about it, but fuck people, it's not that hard to chew with your mouths shut, and not be fucking disgusting. I had to train the wife's family also, wouldn't eat with them till they learned. It is just one pet peeve that pisses me the hell off, I know it's slightly irrational, but, I don't give a shit.

It's especially annoying when you say something (usually politely) and they got obnoxious about it.

Cherokee's are good rigs, but you are right Toyotas are more solid, and much more comfortable. Safety and comfort were my main reasons for taking the plunge.

I would have much preferred a 5 speed, but as far as I know it wasn't an option for my truck. Maybe once the Taco is no longer on daily driver duty and is strictly toy/second vehicle, I'll do a tranny swap.

I'm just starting out, I practiced a little last year with my F250 SuperCab, and I've done some short things that were fun. I have zero interest in rock crawling, I'm way more interested in getting to more difficult hiking areas.
