So my 16 year old step daughter is loading the top rack of the dishwasher with dirty dishes, and the bottom rack is still clean. I say to her, "What the hell are you doing? You have to empty the bottom dishes out first so they don't get crap all over them". Answer: "That's stupid." This from a straight "A" student in 11th grade.

We're doomed, I tell you.
