I sold my 6.8 to help fund the lovely new LaRue that graces my gun safe. I took the LaRue out and did a little bit of wringing-out with it today. It's pretty dang accurate. Hitting at 750 is not very difficult, once I got the wind figured out........damn wind!

How different does it shoot from a 5.56?

My 6.8 what just a slightly harder push to it. It had an AAC brake on it, so it was definitely louder. Mine also had a semi-auto bolt carrier. I don't know how much an FA carrier would have helped.

Thanks! The range I go to here has steel at EXACTLY 250, 500, 750, and 1k yards. The weird part was zeroing it and then trying the ballistics curve using muzzle velocity.
