    I wish man, but I test materials under extreme situations to see when they break... mostly alloys. Then we look to see how and why they broke.

    Ah, sounds like fun! I used to do that at work too, but it was mostly designing stuff to be idiot-proof, handing it over and seeing how long it takes for it to break again

    i've seen some testing facilities on tv shows that do that. cool man.

    It's fun to 'break shit' for a living, but that's usually only the start of it. We are in a 'research' setting so most of what I do is the post analysis, which is the really fun part.
