Mick youre preaching to the choir. I wasn't expecting shit to happen yesterday and Im glad I got a pseudo day off. This next week however, I plan to be a little overly cautious.

Here's the thing that irks me; There is no such thing as a strategic terrorist threat.

A real threat is against a specific target. It's at the tactical level. The idea that there is some kind of real threat based on actionable intelligence that impacts Embassies from Africa to Afghanistan is utter nonsense.

I'm not saying there aren't threats against these locations. I'm sure there are. But this idea that there is some kind of threat that spans almost the entire Islamic world stinks of political theater.

Almost seems like they're trying to justify the NSA programs. On top of deflection from the dozen other controversies. And I agree, that threats are on the tactical level. We had our own fears here that I cant discuss, however they go along with this line of thinking.

Exactly. We've been tracking several things here too. None of them changed with this "actionable intel".

Like I said, comes off like political theater to me.
