i had to make an unexpected journey this afternoon, but it also included a visit with dad......he looks so much better now, but still has a lot of rehab to do. he lost a lot of muscle mass during that two week period in the forced coma. his spirits are good, he sounds good....it was great to see him.

hopefully we can get him back home within two weeks or so...that would be fantastic.

i did a test run today......managed to put pants on and tied up one of my work boots, but i'd better get up earlier than usual because i ain't setting any land speed records taking a shower or getting dressed. i'm probably going back too early, but i can always come home if it ain't working out so swell.

So, while drooling over the bud's police trade in M&P's, I've been looking into the compact version and the shield. I am very intrigued by them both. Brand new, a shield is $388 and the compact is $450. I have wanted a Glock 27 for years, but the M&P40c is catching my eye even more.

Perhaps its time to sell my LCP and upgrade... After all, I'm close to buying some .380acp reloading components and I don't want to add another caliber, I already have 5 I reload for!
