Guard toilet paper and hand out tampons.... But I'm not a deputy so my job is a little different.

Starting in the jail is a good thing... You learn a lot about the criminal mind and how to communicate with them.

When you sit in a glass box all alone for 11 hours a day your mind starts to wonder...

I've got no college. No real job experience other than what I do now. This is all I really know. Granted, I'm good at it...

There's not much I can do on an HED (not a typo)... I mean, yeah the scores were impressive but when a prospective employer sees you're a high school dropout they kind of shy away...

That's why I think I've been passed over for the academy so many times. 4, to be specific.

Starting to get old... I pass all their tests. Do all their physical stuff. Pass all the oral boards... And they pick other people that turn out to suck.

SO! I figure, I'll take my general ingenuity and knowledge of random stupid shit, and live in the mountains of Alaska as a hermit... Ya know, the mysterious guy who lives in the small cabin and only comes to town for certain things....

I scored a 750 I think.... GED test was a cake walk... Can't believe people actually fail it...
