The fucking neighbor to the east of me....which I've only spoken to ONCE in the last 3 years....( I offered to help him search for his lost keys in the bar ditch)...comes over tonight and takes a picture of me burning goat heads.

So, I ask....."you taking pictures of someone burning goat heads?"

Guy says..."no, I'm taking a picture of a mother fucking asshole".


I turn the torch off and try to figure out what all this horse shit is about. Guy was pissed about something from 2 or 3 years ago, some stalker bitch parked in the neighbors driveway across the street from his house, and I know those people. I remember walking over there and asking the bitch what the hell she was doing sitting in their driveway. Anyways, he thought I said a bunch of shitty stuff about him and threw him under the buss and a bunch of other shit. Court orders and broken windshields and shit....nothing I have ANYTHING to do with.

I got him chilled down a bit....he said he was ex leo...... I can see why he's ex leo. The fucker rolled out of the gate like he wanted a fight. I'm in no condition for that right now, so I can't bloody any bodys nose for anytime in the forseeable future. Got some hand shaking going on, and settled some shit down.

It's hard to understand how some folks minds work and how they handle stuff when they're upset, and how long they decide their going to harbor hostile feelings about self perceived injustices.

I don't know for sure, Jim. No one ever really does. I am reasonably confident that I (we) disarmed the hostility and set some stuff straight. I'm never off guard with shit like that, and I will be diligent and aware of that potential now. I'm glad I know now.

I'll spend a little time with him when the chance permits, or when I initiate it........., share a beer and a joke. Ask some questions....and just observe.
