The best part is that since its Walmart, if they don't have the one you want there, just go to the other side of town and they probably have it. I had the Walmart closest to me call the other one to hold it for me.

My co-worker told me that he saw an Rem700 SPS (non-varmint) for $400 at Walmart and nearly snatched it up, but was going out of town and didn't want to blow his money. When he got back, he decided to go grab it and they sold that one and the other one they had jumped to like $565 or something. He was kicking himself for passing on it.

He keeps telling me to browse the rifles in the display cases when I'm there, but I never have that much toy money sitting around to buy on a whim. I'd have to save up for it then hunt one down.
