No, the "yeah" part of my post should have kinda cleared that up a little.
Not a bad idea. I meant more of the repercussions. We attack, they defend and hit a ship. We go to war, Syria attacks Israel, Israel attacks Syria, Iran activates sleepers in the US. China dumps our debt, huge fiscal crisis in US. People panic and start buying shit before money is worthless. Causes shortages of gas and other resources. Sleepers target huge populations, rescue crews can't get in due to lack of gas etc.
Or, we attack, turn it all to glass, russia says we can't come to olympics and we all cheer!
