Yea, don't blame you, especially with the state of the current situation, shelves are empty.
I always look at the ammo shelf when I go to walmart, and try to grab a box every other visit, but they haven't had anything on the shelves since December, so I just reload a whole lot more now.
Actually, that's how I got INTO reloading. I wanted to go shooting, but didn't have ammo and couldn't find it![]()
Ive thought about it but don't have the time, space or money to get started
It was worth it in the long run to me. The price of me reloading 1k of .40 was nearly half the price I could buy it for at walmart (roughly $9.00/50rds). So that's already a savings of $90. Need to load up more 9mm too, but I'll be able to load it for $8.50/50rds and that saves money too. I'd guess that I have about $400 in equipment, so I'll pay that off in another 3k rounds loaded or so.
As far as time and space goes, can't help ya there! I have lots of time now, but pretty soon I won't have any time at all, but that will also limit the time I have to go shooting, so it kind of works out.
Time to rack out. Later
Goodnight stoner!
Agreed. When a friend of mine asked how much ammo I had, I replied with roughly 1k per caliber, he was shocked. I said it wasn't nearly enough. Then again, I think I go shooting a whole heck of a lot more than he does. But still, he always went to the gun shop the day of to get ammo and has boatloads of income, so he can pay whatever price.
