    Cauterize it and stop worrying. If you have access to any lotion, use of it will minimize the scab and discomfort.

    Well, burning your own flesh does sound a little masochistic, but, if it jump starts the healing process..... I say......go for it.

    I think it would only hurt fairly decent for a few hours.
