the problem with this is so many people demand compassion/respect, it is hard to pick out the ones who actually need/deserve it - as a result i find myslef lacking in compassion too

Respect is very easily earned with me.... The first time. Once it is lost, that's an uphill battle...

being dangerous is the trait that demands the most respect from others. Quick story and then I'm REaLLY going to bed:

first week in this new job, and a bunch of very influential folks are trying to tag team me about a project I was in charge of. I nuked them from orbit in front of their boss. I told them I was going to, and they tried to call the bluff. The hard part was that I wasn't bluffing. I had the upper hand in that situation, and I'm not letting other folks walk all over me.

Yeah, truth is, it wasn't horrible shitty.

Had a good lesson with my guitar instructor....even though I blew some of the homework assignments. I think I have a pretty good handle on the material now.
