    Nah, never left the country (yet). Had a month off for professional development (I got married/honeymoon, my PD is actually the classes I'm taking year round).

    I'll be starting my new gig here very soon. Its a 2-3yr project with plenty of travel down to chile, culminating in a 6mo period where I'll live in chile at the observatory while I work on getting the new instrument (and all the hardware I am designing from telescope to instrument) installed, operational, on sky, and through commissioning.
