Well, as far as naming goes, a friend in college had me in his phone as "<my last name> Engineering", because I was ALWAYS designing something and always working/modifying his truck for him lol. The name always stuck with me and I thought about going with that, as it wouldn't limit me to only firearm products.

Yup, my child will design hoverbikes and jetpacks, I will be designing my own suppressors after doing the FEA analysis on them (and all fluid dynamics modeling too), and OBC has dibs on the first model with a super big discount.

Heya jim, I'm fully aware of silencertalk.com, thats what gave me so many ideas on my first design actually.

My degree is actually for professional development (and because its free since I work for the university). Since I'm using it for work, I'll be getting the full ground work for analyzing systems such as suppressors, and the final result will be something that has been fully modeled and analyzed to produce the best sound reduction possible.
