oh no, this shop has been open for years and the other ones that pop up go out of business. This shop charges $100 FFL transfer fees. When I first called, heard that and said unintentionally out loud "wow, thats really steep" they said they have people that pay it all the time. Not sure who because there are at least 10 FFL's in town that charge $10-20 (the $10 guys are VERY flaky though, waiting weeks before they can meet with you).

H335 has lots of loads for 30-06. Go to the hodgdon reloading site and they'll give you some basic recipes.

Thanks belly, already had those before i even posted in here about it. We'll work up some loads, told him we have to weigh each charge because I don't have a powder dropper. Will be interesting.

You can use the barrel of a pen and get pretty close. Just cut the barrel down to the length required, and bam. That'll at least get you close enough to be safe.

or you can tell your friend to buy a lee classic loader and do it himself.

It took me a good 5 minutes to understand what you were talking about. Had to read my previous post to see what the topic was lol. Seems like a good idea, might just have to try that out. Thanks for the tip!
