I feel like crap. Yesterday I had headaches, aching muscles and a dry throat. Went to lay down for a bit a little after the 2nd half of the Broncos game started, and I woke up at 7pm. Ate something, went back to bed, and laid there for hours and hours, unable to sleep. My mind just wouldn't shut off. I got some weird story ideas in my head, and I couldn't go back to sleep until I had finished the story and discovered the outcome, in my head.

Fortunately, I think I cooked most of this bug out of my body last night. Had some pjs and socks on, big comforter over me, the heater was going. But my lips are drier than the Gobi desert.

That sucks, I'm just getting over something. My throat hurt like a motherf'r. And body aches. Being sick sucks.

I was going to get a hot bath going to try to relax my muscles, but for a few months now, the tub/shower has put out, at best, lukewarm water. Going to talk to the maintenance guy today.

Ridge, I got sick last week tuesday, 2nd night of 4 on a work shift. Got home on Friday morning and laid down. When I woke up, it was saturday evening. I slept for nearly 36 hours straight (well, aside from not sleeping at night, tossing and turning, but i was in bed that long). Thought I was doing better yesterday, so I started catching up on some chores around the house. Passed out at 11:30am because I felt weak and achy and woke up at 6pm. I can't shake this bug, whatever the f it is. Feeling better this morning, at least i made it out of bed. taking it slow though.
