Calipers are consumables if you get them at harbor freight! Cheaper than buying batteries...and my caliper battery is dead.
Ok, seriously, get a dial caliper as a backup. You'll need them for the EMP anyway.

Haven't loaded anything lately either. But I did set up my Forster 3-in-1 carbide cutter head to the chamfer depth I wanted on the Forster trimmer. No moe hand inside and outside chamfering. Yay!
I have a really nice battery cal, but you're right. I used to buy battery operated EVERYTHING. I'm growing to hate batteries. I want to get one of the Trijicon red dots that also has a fiber optic bit so it works without batteries too. They are pricey, but it's on my list.
