    Got the shield season 2 on now. Never watched it before, cool show. Kurt Sutter is a writer on it. Creator/writer of sons of anarchy.

    You did see season 1 yes? There's a slow season in there somewhere but t's still interesting.
    Trivia tidbit. The show was "loosely" based on LA's Rampart division. Why is this important? well...............................

    Anytime a tv show comes on and depicts someone in a bad light there's "boycott" ,letter writing, etc. etc. Not one peep was heard from regarding LE's issue with the Shield .

    It's an interesting watch.

    Yeah watched season 1. Hoping jeffco library has season 3. Havent researched it yet.

    Also, that other thread is a hoot!

    Because it was embarrassing enough that it actually happened, and what.. Are they going to complain about the truth? The LAPD sucked at public relations in the late 90s, anyways....
